Social Media Cost Calculator for Bangalore Businesses
Most Bangalore agencies won't tell you what anything costs until you're on a call. This calculator gives you an honest monthly range in about twenty seconds — no email required, no call needed.
The numbers below are built from real 2026 Bangalore market rates, including our own published pricing. Use it to sanity-check any quote you've been given, including ours.
Nothing here is a black box. The breakdown updates live so you can see exactly what drives the cost:
Management base — from ₹15,000/month. Covers strategy, content calendar, posting, captions, community management and reporting. Two platforms included; each additional platform adds roughly ₹2,500 because it means genuinely different content, not copy-paste.
Posting volume. Twelve posts a month is the common baseline. Higher volumes add cost, but per-post it gets cheaper — batching is more efficient for everyone.
Editing only — ₹1,500 per video. You shoot, the agency handles colour, sound, captions and cut.
Shoot and edit — ₹3,000 per video. Includes scripting, the shoot itself and full post-production.
Ads management — ₹8,000–₹12,000/month. This is the management fee only. Your ad spend is separate and should always be paid by you directly to Meta or Google. Any agency that wants ad budget routed through them, or that won't show you the ad account, is a red flag.
All figures exclude 18% GST. Ranges reflect the genuine spread in the Bangalore market — the low end is a lean operator, the high end a full-service agency with senior people on the account.
What Should Always Be Included
Whatever you end up paying, these should not be extras:
A content calendar shared with you in advance, not posts appearing unannounced
Monthly reporting with real numbers — reach, engagement, enquiries — not a screenshot of follower count
Ownership of your own accounts and ad account. You should never lose access if you leave
Captions and hashtag research as part of posting, not billed separately
Sanity-Checking a Quote You've Received
If a quote is far below the range here, ask who is actually doing the work and how many clients they carry. Very cheap retainers usually mean recycled templates or an overloaded junior. If a quote is far above it, ask what the premium buys — senior strategy and original production are worth paying for, but a name alone isn't.
